A Champion Teacher

We are delighted to share the exciting news that our PYP Library Teacher, Ms. Kristine Kirby, has been awarded the title of "Champion Teacher" by LiteracyPlanet, a renowned literacy program. Ms. Kirby's dedication to her profession shines through, making her a remarkable champion in every sense.

This recognition adds to her list of accolades, as she was previously honored as the "UAE Librarian of the Year" in 2022. Ms. Kirby's tireless efforts and innovative approach to librarianship have not only made the library a hub of knowledge but have also enhanced the overall learning experience for our students.

Beyond the library walls, Ms. Kirby extends her passion for literature by organizing community events, such as the Emirates NBD Poetry Competition at GAA. This demonstrates her commitment to fostering a love for reading and creative expression within our school community.
